Consultants in Nephrology and Hypertension is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator. This position is a pivotal part of our office practice. Our office specializes in comprehensive nephrology services. We focus on the evaluation and management of; all stages of chronic kidney disease, and associated care for related disorders. We understand that our patients are looking for exceptional care with every visit. And our goal is to deliver compassion, offer comfort and clarity, and build honest, lasting patient relationships.
Position Summary
As the first point of contact, the Medical Receptionist greets our patients and guests and provides assistance with various needs. The experience our patients have when visiting our office is important. This position is the liaison between the staff and our patients, and is the starting point for building confidence and care with our patients. This position is required to work onsite, in the office. Per compliance standards in this industry vaccination is required and will be confirmed. We are looking for someone interested in the medical field, and who values working with patients and staff.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
• Greeting patients and checking them in and out
• Ensure patients complete necessary forms
• Collecting co-pays and payment balances
• Scheduling future appointments
• Make sure waiting room is presentable
• Assist patients with any scheduling or payment questions
• Other duties as assigned
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
• 1+ years of experience in customer service is preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a receptionist role is preferred
• Previous healthcare experience is highly preferred
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is highly preferred
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task through various tasks
• Skills working with managing basic office machines; phones, computers, printers, fax machines
Specialized Skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology is highly preferred
• Excellent customer service
• Excellent computer skills; typing, scheduling software
• Basic math skills
Office Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9AM - 5PM

Compensation for this position: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Location: This position is primarily based in our main office located in the Alpine Building on the campus of Parker Adventist Hospital, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Occasional availability at our Castle Rock office may be required on an as-needed basis.
